Freddie Ray Herren
Freddie Ray Herren, 60, of Lafe, Ark., passed away August 1, 2013, at his home in Lafe.
He was born on May 17, 1953, in Rector, Ark., and was the son of the late Fred Herren and Mary Lou Shepard.
He was united in marriage to Belva Massey on May 27, 1972, and to this union a daughter was born.
Freddie's hobbies included hunting, softball, and fishing with the grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Belva Herren of Lafe, Ark.; daughter, Robin Daniels and husband Rance of Hornersville, Mo., three grandchildren: Taylor Clifton, Chase Daniels and Emma Daniels all of Hornersville, Mo.; one brother, Mike Herren of Piggott, Ark.; one sister, Sharon Goodman of Piggott, Ark., and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, in the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott, Ark., with Tim Howard and David Gunn officiating. Pallbearers were Dan Gilean, Johnnie McDaniel, James McCord, Robert Shaw, Jerry Don Johnson and Earl Harmon. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Mouton and Billy Seal. A private family burial will be held at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark., at a later date. Visitation was held Saturday evening at the funeral home.
