Lloyd Dewayne "Wayne" Reagans, 72, of Rector, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at his home.

Born May 10, 1941, in Mounds, Mr. Reagans retired as a maintenance supervisor for Rector Sportswear. He was a member of Marmaduke First Baptist Church. He loved spending time with family fishing and hunting and watching his grandkids grow up.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Opal Reagans of the home; one son, Kelvin (Regina) Reagans of Rector; and two grandchildren, Kelsey (Trent) Smith of Marmaduke, and Kasey Reagans of Rector. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jackson and Katie Jackson, both of Paragould; three brothers-in-law, Bill (Verneda) Jackson of Florence, South Carolina, Bob (Martha) Jackson of Davison, Michigan, and Randall (Debbie) Jackson of Corning; one uncle, Burnin Morgan of Paragould; one aunt, Modine Lamb of Paragould and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Owen and Della Reagans; one brother, Wilbourn Reagans; two sisters, Sherry Stroud and infant Reagans and his stepfather, Clayton Russell.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel of Rector. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery.

Kevin Hawley, Dale Cornelison, Cliff Carter, Mike Vowell, Andy Vangilder and Chuck Taylor served as pallbearers. Randall Jackson, Bob Jackson, Bill Jackson, Kelsey Smith, Trent Smith, Kasey Reagans, Ray Gibson and Burnin Morgan were honorary pallbearers.

Memorials to St. Bernard's Cancer Center Hospice Program or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
