Peewee Program Pioneers Honored

A special ceremony was held Tuesday, Oct. 8, during the finale' of the Piggott Peewee football season. During the ceremony officials with Piggott Peewee football honored two pioneers in the local program, as Billy Seal and Randy Jackson were presented with commemorative plaques. Jackson and Seal were coaches in the early days of the program, working the sidelines some 40 years ago this fall. Also on hand were players from their first team, Benny Fry and Tony Crittenden. Those pictured taking part in the ceremony include, from left: former peewee player and coach Michael Harrell, Benny Fry, Randy Jackson, Billy Seal and Tony Crittenden.
