Winter Weather Disrupts Hoops Schedule
Coaches are scrambling to reschedule games called off due to winter storm Cleon last week, and a few non-conference contests may never be made up. And, organizers of the annual Rector High School HOF Classic are also looking to find a new date for the tourney.
The Cougars and Lady Cougars hit the road Tuesday afternoon to visit conference foe McCrory in an evening of games featuring both boys' and girls' teams. This will be the squads' first game in a week, with last week's storm forcing both teams to the sidelines.

Organizers believe the date will be finalized for inclusion in next week's edition of the Times-Democrat.
Meanwhile, the Piggott Mohawk's consolation bracket game with Campbell in the Bernie Invitational will be made up at a future date. While the Lady Mohawks got back into action Tuesday night with a sweep of Armorel at the PHS gym.
