Penny Poole

Penny Lynn Fair Poole, 42, of Piggott, Ark., was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2013, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark. She was born in Piggott, Arkansas on May 1, 1971 to Lemuel Fair and Bobby High Fair Douthit. Penny married the love of her life, Eddie Poole, on June 2, 1989. To this blessed union, their daughters Courtney Michelle Poole-Murphree and Casey Jean Poole were born.

Penny had many joys in her life. There was the color red, big hair, shopping for clothes, friends galore and finding the job of a lifetime as a teacher assistant in the Piggott School System. It was there she found her calling for the love of working with children and changed lives of the children she worked with. All the kids from Piggott School were special to her and they all knew her by Ms. Penny. But, two young women that happened to be twins blessed Penny's life every day. Caitlyn and Bridget Cloninger were very special to Penny and she was very blessed to have known them and be a part of molding their growth in life. They loved her just as much and will miss her dearly. Penny loved to take pictures and took many senior school pictures and family pictures for many people in Piggott. Penny had a strong love for her family that was evident by all who knew her. She was a strong woman and showed it in a variety of ways. She knew from whom her faith and strength came.

Those left behind to mourn the loss in their lives and to rejoice at Heaven's great gain are her husband of 24 years, Eddie Poole; two beautiful daughters whom she devoted her life to, Courtney Michelle Murphree and husband John of Paragould, Ark. and Casey Jean Poole of the home; her parents, Lemuel Fair and wife Susan of Piggott and Bobby Douthit and husband Craig of Newell, S.D.; her mother and father in law, Geryane and Patsy Poole of Piggott; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law whom were the brothers and sisters she never had, Sam Poole and wife Sarah and Charlie Poole and wife Lynn all from Piggott. Nieces and nephews, Bryan Poole, Delaney Poole of Piggott and Wesley Poole of Kentucky and host of many relatives and many, many friends.

Family honored to be pallbearers are, Sam Poole, Charlie Poole, John Murphree, Craig Douthit, Derek Fair and Timothy Fair.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Trent Grimes officiating. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark.
