Pearl Lamb, 74, of Rector, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at her home.

Born September 18, 1939, in Greene County, Mrs. Lamb was a hairdresser for 32 years and owned Pearl's Beauty Shop in Rector. She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Rector.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Willie Jones and a brother-in-law, Robert Fortenberry.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Lamb of the home; one son, Bobby Ball and wife Rita of Walcott and three daughters, Debbie Adams and fiancÚ Tim Voth of Rector, Judy Lenderman of Paragould and Tracie Ball and her boyfriend Ray Moore of Sicklerville, New Jersey. She is also survived by one brother, Hugh Jones of Jonesboro; two sisters, Rebecca Fortenberry of Columbus, Miss. and Brenda Hetler of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Kelly, Craig, Clinton, Lauren, Brandon, Allen, Jasmine, Erica and Tre' and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 2, at First General Baptist Church in Rector with Brad Gilbert officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.

Clinton Engle, Tre' Gonzalez, Blake Moore, Dustin White, Joe Wayne Lamb and Bobby Ball served as pallbearers.
