Peggy Loretta Hill
Mrs. Peggy Loretta Hill, age 75, of Rector, Ark., passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Piggott Community Hospital. Born in St. Louis County, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Ida Belle (Mitchell) Painter and had been a longtime area resident. Mrs. Hill enjoyed reading mysteries.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Hill of Rector, Ark.; their daughter, Michelle (Hill) Shelton and husband Paul of Marmaduke, Ark.; a son, Dave Mitchell and wife Kathy of St. Louis, Mo.; five daughters, Peggy Aguilar and husband Juan of Grand Prairie, Tex., Barbara Gilbertson and husband Frank of California, Dawn Snodgras and husband Roger of Missouri, Debbii Villa and Genia Cain and husband Raymond of Potosi, Mo.; two sisters, Dorothy Brockman and Evelyn Null and husband Mike; one brother, Hugh Painter; one beloved brother-in law and sister-in-law, David and Pat Hill of Potosi, Mo. Mrs. Hill also leaves 21 grandchildren; special grandchildren Jeremy and Amber Wheat; 30 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra Mitchell and Victoria Mitchell Durham; one grandson, Shawn Mitchell; two brothers, Arthur Painter and George Painter and one sister, Nellie Tow.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at the Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Ark. with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Ark. is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Tim Hill, Buddy Hill, Melvin Lamar, Roger Forbes, James Ellis and Thomas Masterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Mitchell and Larry Hill.
