Boyce Delaine Wagster, 83, of St. Francis, Ark., passed away February 19, 2014, in the Piggott Community Hospital.
He was born on March 26, 1930, and was the son of the late Ira and Georgia (Gills) Wagster.
Boyce was a lifelong member of the St. Francis United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge #207. He was a graduate of Campbell High School and he was Honorably Discharged from the Army National Guard on July 7, 1953.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, J.D. Wagster and his grandson William Lane Wagster.
Survivors include his son, Phillip Wagster and wife Carla of Piggott, Ark.; four grandchildren: Hannah and Lily Wagster and Katherine and Emily Graddy; two sisters, Virginia Causey of Piggott, Ark. and Delois Mobley of Maryland Heights, Mo. and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel. Burial was in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark. Pallbearers were his nephews, Larry Causey, Steve Causey, David Wagster, Darrell Galyean and Dewayne Mobley. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation began at noon on Saturday and continued until service time.
