FNB Sponsors Rhodes Show Fundraiser for RFL
Advance tickets are still available for this weekend's fundraiser, as the Rhodes Show will be appearing in a benefit concert beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday March 8 at Emmanuel Baptist Church of Piggott. The show is sponsored by First National Bank of Piggott, and all proceeds benefit the EBC Relay For Life team and the fight against cancer.
The Rhodes Show and its talented members have been considered a staple in family entertainment in the Mid-South for decades, and has a strong following of faithful fans of all ages. The group includes sisters Sandra Rhodes and Donna Rhodes-Morris, daughters of one of the original members of the group. They're joined on stage by Donna's husband, and former Piggott resident, Craig Morris and the multi-talented Brenda "Bear" Barnett.
The Rhodes Show a true variety show, and harkens back to a time when performers offered patrons a full evening of both music and comedy.
"We are so appreciative that First National Bank is sponsoring the Rhodes Show performance," noted RFL team member and former Honored Survivor Krisiti Fuller. "We hope everyone will make plans to attend and help us support the Clay County Relay For Life and the work of the American Cancer Society."
Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children age 12 and under and will be available at the door. Advance tickets are currently on sale at First National Bank of Piggott, Piggott Florist and Feather Your Nest. They're also available from RFL team members, or those wanting more information may call Susie Bowman at 870 598-3457.
