Lady Mohawk catcher MaKalia Beck checks the runner at third during recent home action against Hoxie.

The Piggott Lady Mohawks have been dealing with weather issues of their own this season, and as a result their tournament game at Rivercrest set for this past Saturday was called-off. The Tribe was scheduled to make-up a game Monday afternoon, and were slated to visit the Lady Camels of Campbell in non-conference action on Tuesday. They'll be at home Thursday, April 3 for a conference game with Corning, although the weather forecast is currently calling for thunderstorms.

The Tribe is slated to travel to New Madrid County, Mo. this weekend and take part in a tournament hosted by the Lady Eagles. Monday, April 7 they're scheduled to host the Kennett Lady Indians, and on April 10 a road trip to Rivercrest is on the schedule.

On the season the Lady Mohawks now stand at 4-2, and are a perfect 4-0 in 3A-3 conference play.
