Jacqueline "Jackie" Joan Lambert, 81, of Piggott, Ark., passed away April 19, 2014, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Ark.
She was born on August 10, 1932, in East Helena, Mont., and was the daughter of the late Otto and Charlotte Johnson.
She was united in marriage to Everett Ethan "Red" Lambert on Dec. 22, 1951. They spent many years traveling together, visiting most of the 50 United States. Red preceded her in death after 61 years of marriage on March 6, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her infant son, Blain Ethan Lambert; and brothers, Robert "Bob" Lambert and Allen "Bus" Lambert.
Survivors include her son, Bert Lambert and wife Angela of Magnolia, Ark.; daughter, Janna Hendley and husband Eddie of Rector, Ark.; six grandchildren: Megan Lambert of Grand Prairie, Tex., Melissa Marrufo and husband Isaac of McKinney, Tex., Kristen Lambert of Magnolia, Ark., Zach Hendley of Rector, Ark., Teri Ann Hendley of Rector, Ark. and Seth Hendley of Rector, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Danielle Fountain and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Loy Culver officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Pallbearers are Zach Hendley, Seth Hendley, Steve Lambert, Johnny Lambert, Mike Lambert and Otto Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Bearden, Wayne Hendley and Paul Lambert. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
