Louetta Fay Mauldin
Louetta Fay Mauldin, 68, of Pollard, Ark., passed away May 29, 2014, at the Methodist Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born on March 11, 1946, in Pollard, Ark., and was the daughter of the late Lewie Edward and Tamzie Lee (Young) Holifield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Sarah Lee Starks, Dovie Yow, Gurtie Hemdon, Silvia King, Zora Ray and Maxine Frederick; her brothers, Weslie Beckwith, Lawrence "Bud" Beckwith, Rhody Beckwith and Franklin Beckwith and his step-mother, Dottie Beckwith.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet Cale and husband Roger of Piggott, Ark.; son, Coy Leslie Mauldin and wife Angie of Piggott, Ark.; the father of her children, Coy Mauldin of Piggott, Ark.; granddaughters, Mandy Cale Dodd and husband Andrew of Columbus, Miss., and Casey Mauldin of Pollard, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Harmon, Khloe Harmon, Ethan Dodd and Abram Dodd; two sisters, Pete Wright of Fredericktown, Mo., and Betty Noles of Piggott, Ark.; three step-brothers, Doyle Beckwith of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Daniel Beckwith of Illinois and Ernie Beckwith of Illinois; her dog, Abbie and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Jim McIntosh and Tim McLeskey officiating. Pallbearers were, Matthew Mauldin, Lonnie Starks Jr., Arlis Mauldin, Van Rodery, Jr. Beckwith, Clark Glass, Allen Parker and Carlos Bland. Burial was in Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held Sunday, prior to services, at the funeral home.
