4-H Sets Terrific Tuesday Schedule

Registration is now open for the upcoming 4-H Terrific Tuesday's, being held in July at the Clay County Fairgrounds. The program is offered through the Clay County Cooperative Extension Service, and is open to all area students in grades three through six.

The sessions are set for two consecutive Tuesdays, July 15 and 22, with special training and workshops set for each day.

The first session, on Tuesday, July 15, will include a variety of offerings including, archery, soap making for beginners, basic kids cooking, photography, GPS geo-caching, yoga for kids, showmanship at the county fair and sugar shockers.

During the July 22 session the topics to be covered will include, shooting sports, jewelry making, jelly making, recycling t-shirts, leather tooling and Got Milk--Ice Cream in a Bag.

Preregistration is required, and there is a fee of $5 per student, per day, which covers all the programs and training sessions.
