Ultimate Oldies Returns to Rector
The Rector Community Center is proud to announce that the Ultimate Oldies will be coming to Rector for a night to remember beginning at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29 at the community center. Through the support of current sponsors Glen Sain Motor Sales and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bradberry, the show will feature "the best of the songs that were so popular in the 50s and 60s."
The performers for the show include, the well-known Morris family consisting of Donna Rhodes, Craig Morris, Sam Morris and Savannah Morris in addition to popular talents Lori Dial, Ryan Fisher, Suzie Freligh, Chandler Gill, Richie Williams and Shannon Freeman. These gifted vocalists will be accompanied by a host of highly skilled musicians including Ken Wadley on keyboard, Mark Owen on guitar, Joey Pruett on bass, Teddy Hoke on drums, Josh Mobley and Josh Poff on trumpets and saxophonist Michael Newson.
The Rector Community Center Committee is hosting this event and future fundraisers in order to raise money for various improvement projects at the community center. Plans for other events are being made and will be announced as they are finalized.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the evening and support the community by purchasing tickets to this great show. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased or reserved by calling the Rector Water office at 595-3035. This show is very popular, so organizers recommend those interested to reserve tickets early.
