Ticket Deadline Nears for Chamber Banquet

This year's banquet will also include the table decorating contest, and all businesses are encouraged to participate.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce membership and awards banquet. The dinner meeting will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Piggott Community Center. The cost for tickets is $22 each and they must be purchased in advance by Friday, Oct. 3. This year's theme is "Promote Your Business" and all members are encouraged to take part in the table decorating contest. During the dinner a variety of award will also be handed out to members of the community, including the "You Made it Happen Award," the smile award, outstanding educator of the year, outstanding farmer of the year, outstanding emergency personnel of year, volunteer of the year, organization of the year, the youth award, "A Taste of Piggott" award and the beautification award.
