Adam Gore Wheeler

Adam Gore Wheeler, 25, of Rector, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2014.

Adam was born May 2, 1989, in Paragould and was an employee of Martin Sprocket and Gear. He was of the Baptist faith.

He loved the Dallas Cowboys, watching UFC and playing "Call of Duty" and other video games. Adam also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Carol Wheeler of Rector; grandmother, Willow Dean Wheeler of Paragould; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan and Shawna Wheeler of Rector; fiancée, Jessica Terrett of the home; nephew, Taylor Wilkins and niece, Skye Wilkins, both of Paragould. He is also survived by his very close friends, Wade Lyles and Casey Lyles of Paragould, Bobby Parkus of Piggott, Ben and Mandy Yancey of Rector and the Parrish family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Lynn Wheeler.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 4, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Josh Vangilder will officiate with friends and family giving the eulogy. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector.

Nathan Wheeler, Wade Lyles, Bobby Parkus, Taylor Wilkins, Joseph Parrish and Clayton Parrish will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Yancey, Randall Broadwater and Melvin Shipley.
