Blair Marie Johnson
Blair Marie Johnson, age 20, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Springfield, Mo. Blair was born in Paragould, Ark., on February 6, 1994.
Blair graduated from Bailey Alternative High School in 2012. She was attending Ozark Technical Community College working toward her dream of becoming a registered nurse. Blair was working at Arc of the Ozarks and loved her job and helping people. She was also very excited about starting her new job at Bass Pro Shops.
Blair was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Homer Smart; great uncle, Bufford Smart; great grandpa, Donald Johnson and great grandmother, Velma Johnson.
Blair is survived by her mother, Sarah; father, Bryan; stepfather, Michael; Grandparents, Stella and Rex Cox of Springfield, Mo.; Danny Johnson of Rector; Marshall and Ella Dake; sisters, Sydney, Jennifer, Whitney, Lindsey and Jordan; nephews, AJ and Kayden as well as many extended family members and friends.
In Blair's spare time she enjoyed helping others, hunting, hanging out with her friends and family, especially her nephews AJ and Kayden. She also enjoyed dancing, cooking and playing with her puppy Nala.
Blair was a beautiful, smart, loving and caring daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and best friend to anyone that ever entered her life. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Walnut Lawn Funeral home. Service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home with burial service to follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Mo.
