Claudine Owens, 82, of Piggott, Ark., passed away November 25, 2014, at her home in Piggott.
She was born on August 19, 1932, in Piggott, and was the daughter of the late James Marion and Addie (Powers) Stidham.
Claudine was baptized in the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alvin Owens; a grandson, Aaron; two brothers, Bill and Shirley Stidham; her infant twin sister, Pauline and two sisters, Blanche Cato and Mary Burkman.
Survivors include her brother, Clyde Stidham and wife Letha of South Lyon, Mich.; two daughters, Geraldine Gibson and husband Jerry of Carryville, Ark. and Pamela Cowgill and husband Albert of Piggott; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Owen of Piggott; twelve grandchildren, Wesley, Curtis, Tonya, Dione, Steven, Michael, Melody, Cody, Timmy, Matt, Amanda and Marsha; several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at noon on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Michael Calhoun officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark. Pallbearers were her six grandsons.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, and continued until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
