Jason Dale Stroud, 34, of Lafe, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born February 22, 1980, in Batesville, Ark., he was a plumber for RGB and of the Baptist faith. Jason enjoyed his family, camping with them and cooking outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Stroud of the home; one son, Wyatt Stroud of Rector and two stepdaughters, Arin Miller and Ali Jo Miller, both of the home. He is also survived by one brother, Rusty (Tammy) Stroud of Brookland, Ark.; one sister, Laney Stroud of Little Rock and his grandmother, Theda Mae Womack of Melbourne, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lola Gay Stroud and his grandfather, Ray Von Womack.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould with Danny Hathcoat officiating. Burial followed in the Gainesville Cemetery. Visitation was held the previous evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers included Levi Stroud, Cole Stroud, Matthew Johnson, Pete Eastep, Adam Wall and Troy Smith.
