Charles Oscar Glover

Charles Oscar Glover, 71, of Independence, Mo., passed away December 28, 2014 at his home.

He was born September 19, 1943, to the late Ural Lester and Mamie (Gordon) Glover in Piggott, Ark.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Glover.

He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the American Legion, and helped conduct military honors for many veterans' funerals for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Tracy Glover of Denver, Colo. and Todd Glover of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Genada Glover of Pasadena, Tex.; two brothers, Gaylon Glover of Holcomb, Mo. and Van Glover of Piggott, and a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 31, 2014 in Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, Ark., with Andy Newbill officiating.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, of Piggott, was in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of the giver's choice.
