Janice Spence, 79, of Piggott, Ark., passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Piggott Community Hospital.
She was born on August 2, 1935, in Pollard, Ark., and was the daughter of the late Youil Conley and Stella Amy Pollard.
Janice was devoted in her Baptist Faith and loved listening to Christian music.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Flores and husband Richard of Yorktown, Tex. and Jamie Cluck of Piggott, Ark.; and son Donnie Spence of Salem, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, D. J., Matthew, Joshua, Amy, Richard D., Jeremy and Samantha; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Toombs and Howard Conley and many other relatives and friends.
Janice grew up with cousins Charles, Dallas and Carl Pollard and Jenny Blake, and they stayed loving friends throughout the years.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bro. Vic Suhany officiating. Visitation was held beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday and continued until service time. Honorary pallbearers were Jason Cluck, Jeremy Cluck, Matthew Spence, Joshua Spence, Richard Flores, Charles Pollard, Dallas Pollard and Carl Pollard. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements.
