Lynda Lois (Hill) Daub

Lynda Lois Hill Daub, dearly beloved daughter of the late Herbert L. Hill and Maxine Hill Book was born on July 15, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., and departed this life on January 23, 2015, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Lynda grew up in Piggott and graduated from Piggott High School with the class of 1966. She was also a graduate of Arkansas State University with the class of 1970. She was a Christian and a member of Mandarin United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert L. Hill; her paternal grandparents, James E. and Lois (King) Hill; her maternal grandparents, Laurence and Beatrice Hutchison; a nephew, Michael Shane Hill and her stepfather, Raymond L. Book.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Harry Daub, Jr.; two daughters, Lorrie Ann Schroeck and husband Ted of Denver, Colo. and Sarah Woods and husband Mike of Gainesville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Schroeck of Denver, Colo.; her mother, Maxine Book of Piggott; two brothers, Steve Hill and wife Penny, and David Hill both of Piggott; a sister, Donna Jean Sutton and husband Keith of Little Rock; an aunt, Joella Pollard of Piggott along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, in the First United Methodist Church in Piggott, with Andy Newbill officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark. Pallbearers are Jody Petty, James Hill, Dan Newton, John Harlan, Sam Williams and Ronnie Baker. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home.
