Gale Vann, 53, of Cabot, Ark., passed away February 1, 2015, at the UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
She was born to the late Deloyd "Dee" and Dorothy Imogene (Toombs) Dunlap on December 8, 1961, in Piggott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Rosie Davis and her brother, Donnie Dunlap.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie Vann of Cabot; a son, Bradley Dunlap and wife Melinda of Piggott; a step-daughter, Megan Sowell and husband Gary Don of Cabot; a step-son, Joshua Vann and wife Ashley of Cabot; two grandsons, Tucker Davis Dunlap and Houston Payne Dunlap; six step-grandchildren, Michelle, Heather, Hayden, Natlia, Jaron and Jordyn; two brothers, Harold Dunlap and wife Debbie of Piggott and Gary Dunlap and wife Teresa of Piggott; one sister, Faye Scheffler and husband Fred of Piggott; a brother-in-law, Bill Davis of Piggott and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, with visitation prior to the services beginning at 1 p.m., in the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home at Piggott. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
A visitation was also held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Covered in The Blood Church, in Cabot.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
