Rawligh Benjamin Conyers
Rawligh Benjamin Conyers, 81, of Jonesboro, Ark., passed away Tuesday March 10, 2015, at the Craighead County Nursing Home in Jonesboro.
He was born on May 9, 1933, in McDougal, Ark., and was the son of the late Raymond and Millie (Causey) Conyers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Media (Dunlap) Conyers; his father, Raymond Conyers; his mother, Millie Elizabeth (Causey) Conyers; a son, Charles Craig; four brothers, David Conyers, R.L. Conyers, Louis Conyers and O'Dell Conyers; two sisters, Goldie Cooper and Myrtle Bain and one grandson Wayne Wright.
He is survived by one daughter, Betty Wright and husband James of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Bonnie Garner of Qulin, Mo.; two grandchildren, Charles Craig of Jonesboro, Ark. and Kim Wright of Troy, Mo. and two great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015, in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark., with Bro. Loy Culver officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott.
