Daisy Robinson, 93, of McDougal, Ark., passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.
She was born on March 17, 1922, near Naylor, Mo., and was the daughter of the late Jess and Alice (Campbell) Rigdon.
She was united in marriage to James Eugene Robinson on Aug. 22, 1942, and he preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her brother, J.V. Ridgon and a granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Weller.
Daisy was a member of the Apostolic Fellowship Church in McDougal. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and enjoyed making quilts as a hobby.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Weller and husband James of McDougal, Ark.; three grandsons, Leslie Weller of McDougal, Ark., Chris Weller and wife Teresa of Corning, Ark. and Eric Weller of McDougal, Ark.; great-grandson, Chase; step great-grandsons, Jimmy, Michael, Robbie and Chase; six sisters, Melda Karnes, Mamie Adams, Edna Roark, Fern Bartlett, Barbara Demay and Loretta Blankenship; one brother, Sonny Rigdonand many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Herb Ellis officiating. Burial is in Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, Ark. Pallbearers are Kevin Adams, Larry Miller, Virgil Rice, Pete Karnes, Les Parrish and Adam Buchanan. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
