Alma Louise English
Alma Louise English, age 86, of Barnhart, Mo., passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at her home. She was born November 21, 1928 in Piggott, Ark., the daughter of the late Dovie (nee Krick) and Eddie Scheffler.
She is survived by her husband, James Robert English; her sons, Bobby English of Barnhart and David (Donna) English of Barnhart; a brother, Everett (the late Carlene) Scheffler of Festus, Mo.; a sister Lucille (Rex) Cate of Piggott, Ark.; her grandchildren, Crystal Louise (James Ricky, Jr.) Rorie of Bolivar, Mo., Breann (Christopher) Landis stationed in Japan, Katie (Tyler) Davis of Barnhart, Alexis English of Jadwin, Mo. and Phillip English of Barnhart.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Junior (Ella Jean survives of Piggott, Ark.) Scheffler and Paul (the late Eunice) Scheffler, and a sister, Velma (Clifford survives of Abilene, Tex.) Hollis.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 9, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, Mo. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Duane Meissner of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart. Interment was in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
