The Piggott Lady Mohawks were scheduled to take on Melbourne in the 3A regional softball final at 2:30 today, Monday, May 11, afternoon at Harrison. But, due to wet field conditions the game has been postponed until Tuesday. The Tribe advanced with an 8-5 come from behind win over Valley Springs on Saturday afternoon.

In the other half of the bracket the Lady Bearkatz defeated Manila in the other semi-final, although all four teams qualify for next week's state tournament--also being played at Harrison.

Meanwhile, rain forced a delay in the Marmaduke Lady Greyhounds regional semi-final with Salem on Saturday. The game was scheduled to resume at noon today, but wet conditions have forced another delay. As of last report, the game will resume at noon on Tuesday, with the third-fourth place and championship games to follow at Tuckerman.

Additional updates and schedule changes will be posted as soon as they're made available.
