Former Marmaduke girls basketball coach Spencer Hoffman has been named to the same position at Senath-Hornersville High School. Hoffman, who also had stints at his alma mater of Obion County, Tenn. and Trenton-Peabody, Tenn. most recently coached at Kennett High School. His two seasons leading the Lady Indians, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, saw the varsity team post a record of 51-9. He was also named Bootheel Conference Coach of Year both years, with a two year conference record of 27-0.

After resigning from KHS in 2012 he went on to lead the Hoopster Basketball Club, a nine-month program designed to develop both individual skills and the character of players.

According to the Daily Dunklin Democrat, his hiring was confirmed by Senath-Hornersville superintendent Chad Morgan after reports surfaced.

A graduate of UT-Martin, Hoffman was hired at Marmaduke in 2004, taking over for current Lady Cougar coach Matt Dean who had taken the job at Ozark.
