Summer Reading Program Winds Down

Readers of all ages have the chance to explore many types of heroes this summer, as both the Rector and Piggott public libraries present "Every Hero Has a Story" during the annual summer reading program.
The programs are being held at 9 a.m. at Rector and 11 a.m. at Piggott each Wednesday during the month of June. Yesterday, Wednesday, June 17, Steven's Puppets were featured as they performed "Beauty and the Beast" at the two libraries. In keeping with tradition, the fourth Wednesday, June 24, will feature a live concert by the Kinders.
The programs are all free of charge at both facilities and no pre-registration is required. Those wanting additional information for the Rector Library may call 870 595-2410 and for additional information or the Piggott Library call 870 598-3666.
