Kelvin Reagans, 51, of Rector, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, surrounded by family and friends.
Kelvin was born on February 18, 1964, in Paragould, to Wayne and Opal Reagans. He worked many years at Smoot Mobile Homes along the side of his sweetheart, Regina. He was a member of Marmaduke First Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, which he enjoyed most with family and friends. However, above all, he was a family man; he loved his family unconditionally. Kelvin never met a stranger and will be remembered by most as a "talker" who always had a "Kelvin" story to tell to put a smile on somebody's face.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Reagans.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Regina Reagans of Rector; daughter and son-in-law, Kelsey and Trent Smith of Marmaduke; son and daughter-in-law, Kasey and Whitley Reagans of Jonesboro and his mother, Opal Reagans of Rector.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, July 10, at the Marmaduke First Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11, at the Marmaduke First Baptist Church, with Kim Bridges and Kevin Hawley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
Cliff Carter, Chuck Long, Chuck Taylor, Mike Vowell, Andy Vangilder and Tim Cobb will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Hawley, Cody Taylor, Logan Hawley, Gary Priest and Mickey Hampton.
Memorials to the Make-A-Wish Foundation would be appreciated
