Last week the Marmaduke School District, its athletes, coaches and fans were recognized with the statewide sportsmanship award by the the Arkansas Activities Association. The AAA presents the award annually to one deserving school from each classification recognizing exemplary behavior in students and faculty. To win, the school must have not had a single student, fan or coach to have been ejected from any type of sports event.

This marks the first time Marmaduke has been honored with the award, as they were recognized for 2A.
