Arkansas Adrenaline Makes Strong Showing at WS

Arkansas Adrenaline finished the Fastpitch American Softball Association World Series in the Elite 8 as the last Arkansans standing. Arkansas Adrenaline ranked in the Elite 8 at the Fastpitch American Softball Association World Series held in Branson during July, and was the only Arkansas team left standing in the finals.

The girls arrived at Silver Dollar City on Saturday, July 27, where introduction ceremonies took place. The teams paraded through the theme park to Echo Hollow, where there was a fun celebration to kick of the series. Tuesday and Wednesday all teams took part in practice games.

On Thursday, July 30, the team played Atak 04 from Mississippi, losing 10-2. Atak 04 ended up taking second in the series. Arkansas Adrenaline went on to play the Tulsa Elite out of Oklahoma, beating them 15-3.

On Friday, July 31, Adrenaline beat the NV Stars out of Nevada, 5-3, and later that day lost 9-0 to Sneaky Cleats out of Texas.

Winners of the series were Texarkana Extreme of Texas, second place was Atak 04 and Game Time Stars placed third.

Arkansas Adrenaline was joined in the Elite 8 by No Doubt Lightning, Mojo Ultimate, Sneaky Cleats and Tapout.

The Arkansas Adrenaline team is made up of 11 extraordinary softball players from Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri, including Morgan Garner of Rector, Carly Robinson of Rector, Ali Lewis of Paragould, Alyssa Brown of Holcomb, Audrey Mosley of Blytheville, Shayla Russom of Paragould, Shelby Hensley of Marmaduke, Olivia Miles of Jonesboro, Taylor Brown of Senath, Wyllow Lambdin of Marmaduke and Chancey Henry of Marmaduke.
