The Piggott Mohawks beat the Rector Cougars 28-12 Friday evening at Temerian Field, as the longtime rivalry was renewed. The two non-conference foes both got big games from their respective #5s as Logan Dixon led the Tribe and Garrett Buck paced the Cougar attack. Rector also got a big game from quarterback Lawson Ford and RB Bam Westbrook, while Piggot's Bret Fuller had a big night on both sides of the ball and RB Cody Crittenden played a big role.

Complete details, and comments from both coaches, may be found in the Sept. 23, edition of the CCTD.
