Rector's Kade Scott won the 2A state golf title Tuesday afternoon at Eureka Springs, carding a 79 to take the championship by a single stroke. This marks the second year in a row the talented Cougar has won the state title, as he covered the field by six strokes last year at Blytheville. More details on Scott's performance, and an update on the Mohawk golf teams at state, may be found in the Oct. 7, print edition of the CCTD.
