Cheri Felty of Stanford was involved in an accident in a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix, resulting in her being airlifted to the Med in Memphis Tuesday morning. She was driving southbound on Highway 49 when the vehicle crossed the center line, hit barrels blocking the end of a concrete bridge beside Greene County Road 812, which launched her on top of the bridge. The car flipped as it fell down into the creek beneath, said Arkansas State Trooper Aaron Morphis. The accident remains under investigation by the Arkansas State Police.
