Rector's annual fall crafts fair will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, and patrons can enjoy a light breakfast of sausage and biscuits with white gravy, either spooned over the top or on the side. Coffee also will be available.

The event will continue through 3 p.m. at the Rector Community Center. The fair has become a fall event that brings shoppers to Rector from surrounding areas.

"It's a sellout on vendor spaces with 23 booths offering great wares," said Rector Community Center director Linda Robinson. "Many community favorites will be present and we are excited to have a few new vendors for Saturday.

"Patrons of the fair can check off items on their Christmas lists for gifts and home décor items," she said. "Many other specialty designs can be found on Saturday."

Other items include unique fashion accessories for holiday parties, an array of children's items and much more.

"Whether you are the shopper who stays until lunchtime or the shopper who arrives just in time for homemade potato soup with ham, your palate will be pleased," said a committee spokesperson. "As always, the fair kitchen and dining room will be brimming with good eats and something refreshing to drink. Food that fortifies the shopper and vendors spread throughout the great room with ideas for every occasion and friends who stop to chat in the aisles add that special meaning to shopping local. Experiences like this just don't happen at the mall."
