Flora Gaye Hardin

Flora Gaye (Provoe) Hardin, 76, of Marmaduke, passed from this life on Wednesday December 23, 2015, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born on March 15, 1939 in Blytheville, Ark., to the late Grover Cleveland and Mildred Lucille (Vincent) Provoe. She loved to watch ball games of any kind, spending time with her loving family and attending church.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Ray Hardin; one son, Brian Keith Hardin; two daughters, Peggy Diane and Patricia McCord; one sister, Mary Walden and one grandchild, Courtney Stillman.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Hardin (Michele), Donnie Hardin, Jr., (Pam), Cecil Hardin (Paula) and Mary Fuller all of Marmaduke and Pamela Martin (Ethan) of Mackcreek, Mo.; her sisters, Lucille Marshal of Illinois, Peggy Parker of Missouri, Laura Hicks of Paragould and Faye Carroll of Marmaduke; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 26, at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 27, with Bro. Marston Carpenter officiating. Interment followed in the Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
