Members of the Piggott High School basketball homecoming court for this year include, from left: Front-freshman maid Destiny Maine, eighth grade maid Kaylee Smith, seventh grade maid Annalee Massey and freshman maid Alexus Autry. Middle-junior maid Grayson Murray, sophomore maid Georgina Bautista, sophomore maid Braelyn Rhodes and junior maid Jaessa Threatt. Back-senior maid of honor Holly Boyd, Lady Mohawk basketball beau Logan Dixon, Mohawk Basketball Homecoming Queen Devyn Staples and senior maid Casey Poole.

Winter Storm Jonas forced the postponement of both the Piggott and Rector basketball homecoming games on Friday evening, and the annual ceremonies have been rescheduled accordingly.

The Mohawks will observe homecoming tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 26, with the royalty assembly set for 1:45 p.m. in the high school gym. This year's court will also be introduced between the junior and senior high boy's games with Hoxie Tuesday night, with the junior high game set to tip-off around 6 p.m.

As for the Cougars, they'll now mark homecoming on Tuesday, Feb. 2, as they host the Marmaduke Greyhounds. The royalty assembly is set for 1 p.m. in the RHS gym, with the full court introduced between the Cougar junior and senior boy's games that evening. The first contest is set to tip-off at 6 p.m.
