Threatt Wins Piggott School Board Race

Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Jimmy Threatt out-polled Chris Crawford in Tuesday's Piggott School Board election. Threatt was elected to a five year term on the local board by an unofficial vote of 198 to 62. He replaces Jeff Benbrook, who chose not to seek re-election after serving two terms. Threatt will begin his term at the regular October meeting.

The Piggott School Board race was the only contested race in the county in Tuesday's annual school election.
