Reba Maxine Henson
Reba Maxine Henson, 88, of Piggott, Ark., passed away September 24, 2016, at the NHC Nursing Home in Kennett, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Henson; an infant son, Terry Henson; a granddaughter, Cammie Wells; two sisters, Madeline Helton and Mildred Brown and two brothers, Donald R. Brown and Gerald P. Brown.
She was united in marriage to Aaron Clinton Henson on Aug. 15, 1946, and to this union four children were born.
Reba retired after many years from Brown Shoe Company but she most enjoyed her time as a foster grandparent at Brad Head Start. She was a long-time member of the Westside Church of Christ.
Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Henson Johnson and husband Rick of Piggott and Brenda Gibson and husband Keith of Piggott; three grandchildren, Kimberly Henson and Melissa Montgomery and husband Art, both of Florida, and Aaron Gibson and wife Brandy of Piggott; five great-grandchildren, Steven Wofford, Joseph Montgomery, Haley Montgomery, Josie Higgins and Parker Gibson and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel in Piggott, with Scott Ruhmann officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Stewart Dehls, Aaron Gibson, Carl Ed Lovelady, Brian Haley, Steven Wofford and Neil Morgan. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
