A long-time local autumn tradition continues Friday afternoon, as Piggott Elementary School will host its annual fall festival. This year's event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, on the playground behind PES.

Once again this year, the festival will include a variety of games, inflatables and food.

"We looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled fall festival," a spokesman noted. "Kids can ride the train, take part in the cake walk, or play Hillbilly Golf, bingo, ping pong toss, pick up ducks, ring toss and grab bags. There'll also be inflatables, and a lot of good food--and more."

The event will also include the annual silent auction, which includes items donated by local businesses and individuals. Organizers also noted items are still being sought for the silent, auction and may be dropped-off at PES.

Pre-sale tickets may be purchased at a cost of 20 for $5, from 7:30 to 8 a.m. on both Thursday and Friday, in the Parent Center of PES. Tickets will also be available at the festival.

All proceeds from the annual Piggott Elementary School Fall Festival benefit the PES Climate Committee, and their efforts at the local campus. Those wanting additional information may call 598-2546.
