Homecoming Set for RHS and PHS

Football homecoming is being observed at Piggott High School this week, culminating with Friday night's game against the Manila Lions at Parker Field. The royalty assembly will be held at 9:25 a.m. on Friday, the pep rally will be held at 1 p.m. and the homecoming parade will follow at 2. Presentation of royalty will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, prior to the football game.

Rector High School's football homecoming is set for Friday, Oct. 14, as the Cougars host the Cross County Thunderbirds. The homecoming royalty will be introduced at an assembly at 1 p.m. Friday at the school gymnasium. The court will be presented to the community prior to the start of the game at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

This year's PHS homecoming royalty includes, from left: Front-sophomore maid Jasime Leggett, freshman maid Shayla Foley, seventh grade maid Summer Pollard, eighth grade maid Jordan Leggett, freshman maid Taylor Seal and sophomore maid Delaney Poole.
