High School Football Update, Week Eight

The Piggott Mohawks dropped their second game of the season at Walnut Ridge Friday night. The Tribe fell to the Bobcats 14-13 after going for a two-point conversion which came up short. The loss puts the Mohawks into a third place spot in conference, as Rivercrest and Newport now occupy the top two spots with two games to play.

As for the Rector Cougars, they traveled to Lepanto and fell to the EPC Warriors 52-7.

Thursday night the Junior Cougars completed their unbeaten season at Midland, as they posted yet another shut-out 37-0 to go to 8-0.

As for the Junior Mohawks, they hosted Walnut Ridge Thursday night and fell 32-0 to the Bobkittens.
