Larrah Catherine Roberts
Larrah Catherine Roberts, 81, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Fort Smith, passed from this life November 7, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born December 3, 1934, in Clay County, Ark. to the late Dennis and Piny (Mayo) Green. Larrah loved to sew and cook for her family and was known for her "Best in the World" peanut brittle. She was a seamstress for Rock Mound Ranchwear.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Pote and her husband Daniel of Booneville, Ark. and Glenna Hedegard and her husband Scott of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Pote of El Paso, Tex., Larrah Jenkins of Fayetteville and April Davis and her husband Derek of Russellville, Ark; four great granddaughters; her nieces, Dot Palmer, Barbara Divine, Elizabeth Davis and Terri Stahl, as well as her nephews, Avery Smith and Byron Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Glen Roberts; her parents; her sister, Mayzell Permenter and two brothers, James (J.O.) Green and Ferrell Green.
Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends following the graveside service. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
