Jennifer Lynn Cooper
Jennifer Lynn (Mair) Cooper, 55, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Mo., after a short battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born February 4, 1961, in Azusa, Calif., to Earl Charles and Barbara (Rohde) Mair.
She was united in marriage to Edward Cooper on October 17, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Charles Mair, and her newborn son, Stuart Nathan Mair.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Edward Cooper; son, Jason Mair and wife Toni of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter, Kristine Winchester and husband Justin of Piggott, Ark.; mother, Barbara Mair of Fayetteville, Ark.; three grandsons, Zachariah and Jonathyn Haney and Ty Winchester, and two granddaughters, Natalee Winchester and Mykenzie Mair. As one of seven children, Jennifer also leaves behind three brothers, John, Dan and Mark Mair along with three sisterx, Pam Benoit, Dawn Wright and Shawn Berry.
Those of you who knew Jennifer would agree she was a cheerful, loving and strong person who put her family and friends before herself. She was a wonderful Nene to her grandchildren and she devoted all of her free time to them.
She was a graduate of Azusa High School and Three Rivers College. Jennifer was employed at Casey's General Store and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Ark. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
Her family would especially like to thank Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, for their loving care of Jennifer while she was in their care.
The family will hold a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Piggott, with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
