DeLane Owen, 53 of Nashville, Tenn., and formerly of Rector, Ark., passed away November 23, 2016, at the Alive Hospice Facility in Nashville. He was born June 28, 1963, to the late Lawrence "Blue" and Loreta (Barker) Owen in Rector.
He was the owner and operator of Satellite Revolution and served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Korea, as his father had been.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Owen and Rita Ward; two nieces, MaLinda and Lisa Higginbottom and a nephew, Shane Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife: Julia (Stokes) Owen; a daughter, Brianna Jenkins of Nashville, his grandsons, Aaron Bryce Trigleth, Preston Trigleth and Dillon Trigleth, sisters, Debbie and Herbert Higginbottom and Sheila and Gordon Kilgore; a brother, Darwin and wife Kim Owen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held beginning at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Irby Chapel, with interment in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.
