Virginia Mack, 95, of Greenway, Ark., passed away January 3, 2017, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Ark.
She was born on June 6, 1921, in Memphis, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late T.N. and Pearl (Davis) Stokes.
She was united in marriage to Fred Dudley Mack on Aug. 18, 1942, and he preceded her in death after 56 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Mack.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Gurley and husband Ronnie of Greenway; son Joe Mack and wife Susan of Brentwood, Tenn.; special second daughters, Jean Belote and Carolyn Wylie; a special second son, Jase Speer; her grandchildren, Kellie Mack of Austin, Tex., Amy Daniel of Clarksville, Tenn. and Jason Gurley of Greenway; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Mack, Isaac, Ian and Cori Ann Daniel and many other relatives and friends.
She also leaves behind the Mack, Hardin, Jeffress, Crowson, Wylie and Speer Families.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, with Rickey Wylie officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, prior to the graveside service, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott.
