Loletta Wooten, 92, of Paragould, Ark., passed away, January 3, 2017, at the Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born May 10, 1924, to Arthur and Mae (Bell) Davis in the Rector area. She was a homemaker and made many beautiful quilts in her lifetime.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wooten,
and a sister, Juanita Ward.
She is survived by four sons, Ernie and Berline Wooten of Alamosa, Colo., Willis and Jerris Wooten of Monroe, La., Russell and Charlotte Wooten of Cherokee Village,
Ark. and Randy Wooten of Weiner, Ark.; two daughters, Wanda Layer of Paragould and
Linda Wooten of Rector; nine grandchildren, Sondra Lowe, Lesia Willett, Ernie Wooten Jr., Russell Wooten Jr. Melissa Gerringer, Andrea Ferguson, Shannon Ward, Shane Wooten, Angelina Crow and Randy Franklin Wooten; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at the Irby Funeral
Home in Rector. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, in the Irby Chapel with interment in the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
