David Nolen, 48, of Marmaduke, Ark., passed away January 24, 2017, at Marmaduke. He was born July 20, 1968, to Bill and Gloria (Potter) Nolen. He was a handyman, who loved tinkering around, and served as a counselor at the New Life of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Ray Nolen, Sr., and a sister, Sharon McClard.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Nolen; four brothers, Gary McClard of St. Clair, Mo., Billy Ray Nolen, Jr., of Kennett, Mo., Larry Lee Nolen of Batesville, Ark. and Sherrill Potter of Paragould, Ark.; a sister, Jeanne Lawrence of Kennett, Mo.; his nieces, April Wilson, Cassaundra Davison, Magan Hensley, Hannah McClard, Kelsey Lawrence, Emily McClard, Gracie Potter; his nephews, Tim Lawrence, Jr., Jacob Nolen, Payton Potter and Carson Potter along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Irby Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be at the Providence Cemetery, Lafe, Ark.
