Frankie Cheshire, 84, of Paragould, Ark., died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was born October 22, 1932, in Deering, Mo., to the late Brown and Ethel (Shelton) Pearson. Frankie married Joseph Trolley Cheshire on Aug. 25, 1950, in
Piggott. During her lifetime she lived in Rector, Kennett and the Paragould area.
She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Emerson Electric in Kennett.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Cheshire; a granddaughter, Jamie Cheshire Thomason; a great-grandson, Maddox Thomason; four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Joe W. and Lee Cheshire of Paragould and Danny and Beth Cheshire of Pollard; two daughters, Karon Gilkison of Paragould and Kathy Murray of Paragould; her grandchildren, Jackie Straub, Logan Cheshire, Daniel Cheshire, Matthew Cheshire, Misty Hyde, Mindy Williams, Shelley Moore, Gary Gilkison and Christie Bishop; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, in the Irby Chapel.
Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery, in Rector, with Shelley Elkins in charge of the service.
